Fischer Skis announced an increase of more than 20% in pre-season sales of Nordic ski products as cross country skiing experiences a surge in popularity across the nation. There are now more than 4.5 million cross country skiers in the U.S.

The narrow 100 meter course was tricky. There were tight fast corners, undulations, and, if you weren't centered in the lane, grass just off the edge ready to catch a ski tip. But it was snow, in October!

Rain threatened, but it stayed dry for the Team NordicSkiRacer Tuesday night Intensity Session. Typically, we alternate rollerski and ski walking interval sessions. This Tuesday we did a 2 mile running time trial instead.
